April 8, 2020 - Prayer Tip

Updated: Jun 29

One thing most of us can do during these “distancing” times is walk. You can share trails or sidewalks while maintaining a safe distance for other walkers. And as you walk, pray for your neighbors, your family and those who govern both near and far.

Your neighborhood can provide a meaningful time of walking with the God who knows every hair on your head. And, depending on conditions and health, you may need to sit on a balcony or patio and imagine walking and praying with God.

However you do it, feel God's presence as God strengthens you. If you are in the midst of difficult times (and to some extent we all are), know God will never leave you or forsake you. God walks with you in the good times and in the challenges of your life.

Now get walking--and praying!
