Meaningful Worship

Worshiping God in meaningful and powerful ways is crucially important to the people of Main Street. All are invited to gather at 10:30 on Sunday mornings for an uplifting service for all generations.

The worship services include active congregational participation through liturgies, affirmations of faith and congregational singing.

Music is a vitally important part of each worship service which is lead by the chancel choir, the summer choir, the handbell choir or guest musicians.

Main Street is blessed to have a beautiful pipe organ and a talented music director, Johnson Scott, who leads the entire music program in providing a sacred worship environment.

Our pastor, Dawn Compton, offers a relevant message each week through relevant worship series.

Children are always welcome in the services. However, we also offer an infant, toddler and preschool nursery for those who want it.

We also offer special worship services throughout the year, such as a Christmas Eve service, an Ash Wednesday service, a Maundy Thursday service and a Good Friday service.

Another worship opportunity supported by Main Street is Bread For The Journey.  This is a regular gathering of creative folks and spiritual innovators who wish to explore how faith, creative expression, and spirituality can be key ingredients in the healing and reconciliation of our fractured world.  If you would like more information about Bread For The Journey, check out the facebook page. www.facebook.com/groups/756941135548754
